Easy ways to clear your skin.
lets be honest, we have all experienced a time in our lives where we came across a picture of a model or anybody for that matter with clear glowing skin and detested our own, wishing we could be born with a flawless one too. We are. Its the start of ones adolescences , that we notice the first signs of any diffrence on our skin. usually puberty is to blame for most breakouts but with the right care and products we can help minimize them as much as possible or prevent them completely.
6 most common Causes of acne:
1: Genetics: Heretidy may have a big role in what type of skin you are blessed ( or cursed) with.
2: Hands and mobile phones: bacteria that transfers to your hands through lets say scratching your butt , picking your nose , slapping your siblings ( who probably just came from outside , playing in the mud) touching grubby surfaces will automatically transfer to your face when you touch it , or your mobile device that will touch your face for those two hours doubling up your bacteria while you are too busy gossping.
Sleep is also very important, not only for your skin, but also so your body can repair itself as you rest. Similar to stress, sleep may not directly cause acne but a lack of sleep can contribute to more breakouts.
3: pillow case: Like anything else that transfers dirt and oil to your skin, pillowcases can be one of the culprits to blame. There is no ideal number of days you should change or wash your bedsheets but 3-5 days sounds reasonable. When your pillowcase isn’t laundered or changed regularly, a build-up of dirt and oil from the environment as well as your skin and hair touching the pillow is transferred back to your skin. This can clog pores and cause blemishes. It probably doesnt matter what material your pillow case is made of but rather whats lurking in it ( this can also relate to your back acne)
5: food Allergies: food allergies are very subtle but they can pack a big punch in the acne department. These include a sensitivity to milk, dairy, iodine, gluten, biotin, sugar, soy, etc.
If you have acne from food sensitivities, the pimples might take 4-5 days to show up after eating a particular food. For example, if you eat a certain type of food one day and break out the next, that is generally too short of a time span to tell if the food was the actual acne culprit, unless you had an
immediate allergic reaction as its said certain foods flare eczema instantly.
6: Stress can wreak havoc on skin and worsen acne symptoms. But it isnt directly a cause of acne either as well as that being stress-free, also doesn't guarantee clear skin. Stress, however, is definitely something that can trigger acne and make it worse.
I was one of those blessed people who herited flawless and clear skin from my parents ( go on hate me). Being a brown girl i have dry to a mild oily skin. Over time I embraced my dark circles , results of stress and lack of sleep as well as my fair turned wheatish complexion due to my immense love and passion for sports, but never once in my life did I ever come across a zit on my face or breakout. Until I turned 17. To say I was horrified was an understatement. It all began when my first cousin got married and as you know pakistani wedding celebrations can last upto months at a time, my couisn's was no exception. My mom took all my couisns and me to the salon to get our faces cleansed and what not. And as you are aware of most beauticians , they love looking for flaws on your face and fixing them. So naturally the girl cleansing my face makes a scene about how i have too much hair on my face ( IT WAS A LIGHT PEACH FUZZ) and with out any approval or warning goes and waxes my side face. yay. Next morning I do wakeup with fresh and smooth skin. the day after that? my side burns to cheeks are covered with small pimples. And what does a girl like me who has no prior knowledge of how to handle this situation and cannot keep her hands under controll do? Pops them. yay. Which results in more pimples.yay. which results in me putting on more makeup to cover them. yay. And as i was just entering the stage of loving makeup i still wasnt clear on the fact how to remove it the right way which ment my pores got clogged and resulted in more pimples and brown spots.double yay. With so many events to attend to and so many picture sessions I got frustrated and the next morning went to the nearest drug store and randomly picked out face washes that gave me a gut feeling they could help ( stupidity doesnt have its limites). Belive it or not they helped ( sometimes i love my random stupid decsions and gut feeling). so this is what I picked out:
Loreal face wash white perfect (Rs.229)
I have been hooked ever since! It does give you that instant glow and freshens up your face. Athough I would recommend you use a moisturizer after it as it does leave your face a bit dry ( in the winters). It does have a wole kit with its toners and creams but I barely have the energy to wash my face let alon apply all that. Although it didnt directly help me with my pimples it did clean out my pores pretty good. gives you instant whitening results.
Clean and clear active acne face wash (Rs.299)This helped me tremendously with my pimples. Althought I dont know how this would work on severe acne (mine was mild to moderate). It gave you that cleansed and refreashing feeling. It gave me results within a week.
Along the way there are other things that I have started using or doing to help clean my face:
I use these everytime to remove my makeup or any dirt or oil if i feel like my pores are all clogged up. It does the job perfectly!
I use this freeman mask twice a month or probably 2 hours before applying my makeup if i have to go somewhere. Not only does it give you an isntant glow it livens up your face and cleanses it out as well as that i am addicited to peeling things off.
My mom bought heaps of these when we were moving to pakistan from shanghai and out of curiosity I tried one and i have been hooked ever since! ( I may have taken a few as well out of her stash). I dont use them regularly but a day before an imporant event after exfoliating my face. It gives you great results ( in my opnion better results than going to a salon for a cleanse).
I recently picked this out as I was having two tone issues and white patches on my face. its a bit on the pricer side but it did give me satisfactory results. With this I also picked out a sunscreen but i its still in process so ill update you guys soon :)
My dermetologist recommended this to me so i just got this a week ago and it has worked wonders on my skin! it is expensive but totally worth every penny! it has directly helped with my tones and patches and gave me results in a week.
for home remedies I do use 1tsp lemon mixed with 1sp tomatoe juice and apply it on my face for 15 minutes. It brigtends your dull complexion instantly and gets rid of dead skin cells. I use gram flour mixed with milk and make a paste to apply until it dries. To be very honest i think this is the best thing you could do for your skin and wit everyday use your skin will be like enhanced IRL but its too much work for my lazy ass.
If you ave tried everything and just cant seem to get rid of your acne your first step would be to go to a dermatologist and with their approval get a laser treatment.
there currently seems to be a problem with the positioning of images and color text for some reason on the orignal post ,but i am trying a way to fix it as soon as possible. :)
