Namaz in Church?

This is just a small story/oath that I want to share with as many people as possible.

So a few days ago, I attended a family friend's graduation party. It was in a church. Yes the people were Pakistani and Muslims. There were 2 prayers held with full Jamat and Azan (Asar and Magrib).

Its the first experience I have ever had of this  kind and it was beautiful. It also made me discern a few things. I wont slander or badmouth any religion, race or ethnicity here. What I saw that day was pure humanity. In today's society people wont even eat from the same plate of a man of another religion or sector let alone let them pray in their house of worship. In the past few months there have been a tremendous amount of issues which have bought about controversial views from all around the world. Anyone with access to a mobile device and social media can voice their views in Long paragraphs and all. But that is all they will ever will be. Just views.  Yes I am one of those people and I cant deny that I won't do it again. However that day made me realize one thing for sure. The amount of time I, or anyone for that matter, put into writing long paragraphs that most people don't even read half way through, I can actually put into actions. Those paragraphs won't ever touch someone's heart. They won't bring dead people back. They won't make time go back to undo all those evil deeds. They won't prevent future attacks, but my actions can. And yes I am not ashamed to say that a christian made me open my eyes and  realize that. Every religion teaches to spread peace. Its us people that manipulate those teachings to cover up our atrocious acts in the name of religion. The saying "Actions speak louder than words" never really held any meaning for me until that day. So from today I will do less talking and more work. At the end of the day we don't need to erase any religion, race or ethnicity to make this world a better place. All we need is humanity. 

The ultimate eyelashes hacks

Firstly thankyou to all people the who gave feedback on my previous post! Surprisingly it was all positive! So yet here I am again with another hack and tip post. For me I want my lashes as black as my soul and as long as the list of people I hate. So even though life cannot be perfect but your lashes can!


                                                                                #1:

If you have thin or short lashes you can mix equal parts coconut oil, castor oil, tea tree oil and aloe vera gel in a clean bottle and with a help of a mascara wandapply it to your lash every night before you go to sleep. As I am prone to trying stupid things I trimmed my lashes once and they grew out really long and thick! well I became greedy and did it again this time even trimming it more. They didn't grow back. So I tried this remedy and voila!It does wonders and you can see results in a week. This also works for eyebrows.

                                                                              #2: 

If you don't have an automatic heat lash curler you can make your own by putting your normal lash curler infront of a hair dryer for about 15-30 seconds on a medium blow. This will give you a more enhanced and a longer lasting effect than just using the curler normally.

#3:

 If you are a mascara hoarder you might have these or atleast the wands. you can mix two to get the effect you want: 

1) to thicken plus seperate

2) to curl and hold

3) to wing out and intensify 

4) Magnify and top coat

#4:

Most of the time mascaras dry out quickly even before they have been half used. 

for a quick fix and to make  your mascara last 3 times longer just add a few drops of baby oil or more preferably any saline or eye solution and put the mascara in a cup of luke warm water.

                                                                                #5:

 when applying mascara, instead of pumping twist and twirl the wand inside the bottle as it will prevent it from clumping and have a an easier application.

                                                                           #6:

If you are not a big fan of false lashes you can use baby powder or cotton balls to make your lashes appear more fuller. add some cotton balls by rubbing a spoolie on the cotton ball and then combing it to you eye lash. Or patting baby powder with a small makeup brush after every layer.

Its ( almost) every girls dream to have her liner so sharp it could cut a B**ch,

as you all know I am no makeup , I am just like the rest of the 70 percent who have yet to master eyeliner skills and still cry through the whole process. but in these few years of failed attempts I have somewhat found a way to make the process less excruciating and save you from looking like a racoon.

So if you are a beginner here are some hacks and tips to get you started:

                                                                                 #1:

 

first things first as a beginner you will make tons of mistakes and get frustrated. this will lead to roughly rubbing off your liner from your eyes ( guilty). Don't. Not only will this make your eyes itchy and uncomfortable it can also lead to early eye wrinkles. Be as gentle as you can when removing eyeliner even makeup from under your eyes as well as the outer corners. You will see under eye wrinkles are a common problem in many makeup gurus especially on youtube. Invest in soft and organic makeup remover wipes or even better makeup swabs. They will help you in just targeting the area you missed as well as that be gentle on your eyes.

                                                    #2: 

Use a makeup tape for a sharp wing or line. If you are using a normal tape make sure to make it less tacky by sticking the tape on your hand and pulling it 2-3 times so its not harsh on the skins and doesnt remove any natural oils. You can also use any object that has a sharp straight line like cards or knifes....don't do that. 

#3:

Diffrent types of product give diffrent results. I mostly see and hear people saying that beginners should start with pencil liners and then move to liquid or cake liners. I completely disagree with that as I used to be scared of cake liners but when I tried it I was completely hooked! I personally think they are more easy to apply. So don't be afraid to try diffrent applicators and see which one suits you best!

#4:

It can get frustrating to correct your liner again and again and our hand literally dies in the process.

By resting your elbow on a flat surface and putting your pinky on your cheek not only will your hand only have support but it will give you a much more stable hand thus a much better and on fleek application with even less mess ups.

#5: 

If you just cant ever seem to get a straight line without even a wing I got you girl. 

drawing dots or even dashes along the upper eyelid will help you as a guide to a straight line.

#6:

NEVER EVER pull the side of your skin when applying eyeliner. It will make applying easier but

it doesnt give a straight line and there are more chances of mess ups.

#7: 

If you think your eyeliner looks a bit incomplete or you want something a bit more intense 

try using a pencil liner or kohl inside your upper lash line.

#8:

if you still cannot make a straight line try using the method above 

to get a light line as your guide. this only works with a pencil liner.

#9: 

And when all else fails try the eyeliner stencil and if you manage to mess

that up then you should just reconsider your whole existence.

first things first. If a womens hand is steady enough to put on perfect winged eyeliner then its steady enough to stab you in the heart. winged eyeliner is a form of art that needs to be mastered. After a couple of years of  spending hours in the  bathroom perfecting my eyeliner , making my eyes look like that of a raccoon I have somewhat mastered ( or found a way to cheat at) the eyeliner game. 

first of all what every girl needs to know is that everybody doesnt have the same eye shape so what looks amazing on your friend wont necessarily look good on you. this doesnt only go for the eyeliner but most eye makeup tutorials as well. 

All together there are 10 diffrent eye shapes and for each shape there are diffrent ways to enhance your eyelids: 

1: Almond shape :

 going with a winged liner with a sharp flick at the end will give a nice compliment to your eye curves.

2: Big eyes:

 if you have big eyes you are one hell of a lucky girl. Not can you only line both your top and bottom lash but you can also play around with diffrent styles of winged liners as well as cat eyes.

3:Small eyes:

one thing girls with small eyes should steer clear of is on their bottom water line as this can give an appearance of an even smaller and closed eye. Its better to opt for a thin on the upper lash line to frame your eyes.

4:Round eyes:

if you had like to make your eyes appear a little longer try lining the outer edges of your lash line or going for a long winged liner look.

5: Monolids:

A monolid is a perfect canvas to paint and experiment on with dramatic winged liners as well as cat eyes.

6: Prominent eyes:

you can make your lids appear small by using a thicker liner for your top lash line from one corner to the other. 

7: Hooded eyes:

If you want to give an illusion of bigger eyes you can start by applying the liner between the roots of your lashesin order to make your lash base look thick, Lastly make sure to apply thick liner at the outer corner of your eye.

8:Wide set eyes:

  you need to focus more on the inner corner of the eyes in order to make them appear more closer together you should start the line at your tear duct but make sure not to extend it over the outer corner of your eye.

9:Close set eyes

for this eye shape its better to focus on the outer corners of your eye. start by applying a thinner line just a bit after the tear duct (but not on it as it will emphasize even more the closeness of your eyes) and thickening it at the outer corner , taking it a bit past your lash line.

10: Deep set eyes:

for girls with this kind of eye shape they should avoid a thick line or even smudging their eyeliner as this may give an appearance of an even more sunken eye.  Instead apply a thin line as close to your lash line as possible and only line the outer half of your eyes.

An open letter to my " Best friend"

every situation good or bad you gain something be it in the form of strength,knowledge , lesson or a person. And just like that saying , from a disastraous situation I got you. Its not very common that someone who hates you , over time develops into a person you venerate more than your life. 4 years ago if someone told me that this would happen I would have straight up hysterically laughed at their face and told them they were mad. But one thing I forgot is that life is mad ( or maybe its just karma showing you dont make fun of people, you might end up making them your best friend in the future. take note). To others we may look like we are best friends. But not to me. To me this is just a label that has been over used in todays society where people give it to anybody in a short matter of time and frankly speaking that label doesnt do justice to what you are for me. Ofcourse no friendship is perfect and there are days where we fight constantly and hate each other , dont get one another , or  just sit and wonder how the hell did I put up with this person for 4 years. If someone were to ask me to describe my love for you they might as well have asked what water tastes like. So I would tell them to imagine living in the absence of it. you can go by without it for a day or so or maybe even survive without it for a week or two. But slowly and gradually with each passing day your body will start to wither and shirvel away. And so the idea of living without water is equavelant to you not being a part of my life - impossible ( even though you are piece of shit). In the past as much as I refused to belive it , the company you keep does have an impact and influence on your choices and I am lucky that you got to impact mine. So thankyou for saving me from taking stupid descions and trying out insane ideas which I would deeply regret later , even though you become a buzz kill in the process. There are people in my life who I would speak a thousand sentences to but they would still not get me. And then there is you who will understand me ,  without me uttering a word. So thankyou for being there , thankyou for cleaning up other people's mess in my life, thankyou for telling me the truth even when I got mad and didnt want to hear it , thankyou for putting up with my out of controll mood swings. Thankyou for staying there when I made you feel like crap. For a long time I wasnt sure what I wanted or who I needed to be , But I found you and you made me feel beautiful and save and happy. And for I long time I know you were hurt and broken and damaged but you found me and I hope you realise that you are loved and needed and for a long time now we have things to see , dreams to acomplish , lessons to learn and for our selves to grow and I hope we can do that together. I love you.
